DeChambeau was one of a number of players to take part in the iconic event at Augusta National ahead of the major championship.

And it was Aaron Rai who emerged victorious, claiming a one-shot victory with his 6-under 21 on the nine-hole course.

But many eyes were on comedian Hart, who served as caddie for two-time major champion DeChambeau.

He was, however, also given the chance to impress on the course, but failed miserably on the 9th hole.

Hart took his time as he lined up his tee shot in front of Ike’s Pond, which many have failed to carry over the years.

And that was also the case for the American as he sent his shot straight into the water.

Sharing footage of the shot on X, DeChambeau posted bluntly: “Kevin had one shot and fumbled,” adding a skull emoji.

Hart decided to celebrate his effort nonetheless, while he was lifted up by DeChambeau to great applause from the patrons at Augusta National.

Bryson DeChambeau reveals the advice he received from Kevin Hart

DeChambeau and Hart represented quite the pairing at The Masters Par 3 Contest, which also featured the likes of Tommy Fleetwood and Gary Player.

Many players brought their family members along for the entertaining event, at which DeChambeau enjoyed a special day with Hart.

Sharing the advice he received from his caddie for the day, the LIV Golf star said: “A lot of wind advice out there.

“He was reading the greens a little bit. It was fun to get out there and have him experience what golf at this highest level is.

“And he was telling me as we were walking down some of the fairways, he was like I didn’t realize it was like this all the people looking down on you, seeing every little detail of what you’re doing, and then just how technical you guys are, how strategic you are, how thoughtful you guys are, and how much control you have with your golf ball. He was mesmerized by it.

“So it’s really cool to see somebody that’s that big of a superstar getting into the game of golf. He’s done it for the past seven months now.

“He’s just gotten into the game seven months ago and for him to finally see what it is like at this high level is really cool because he’s like I have so much respect for you guys. And it’s cool to see that.

“He’s a superstar in his own right and a movie star and comedian and business entrepreneur, like everything he’s done is so impeccable and impressive.

“To be able to collaborate with golf and see how good the game of golf is for the world, it’s cool to mesh two worlds.”

Bryson DeChambeau loves Augusta National’s no-phone policy

DeChambeau has, of course, delved into another world alongside his golfing career, having built a massive following on social media.

But intriguingly, a no-phone policy is in place at Augusta National, which many people have fallen foul of over the years.

And despite his tendency to capture footage of his entertaining endeavours, it is a rule that DeChambeau is a fan of.

“I think it’s great,” he said. “No doubt, the history is so respected here, and albeit we have to have certain types of communication.

“We adhere to the rules as much as we can and we abide by them as much as we can. I think the most important thing is respecting the tradition and the honor and integrity in this new modern social media world.

“It’s funny, I think Augusta is quite tech savvy to be honest everything what I’ve seen and what they’ve done with the place and what they have for the patrons on the range and people on TV, patrons watching on TV is really cool, all the graphics they have.

“So they’re quite tech savvy, I must say but it’s fun to be and nice to go back where we’re more focused on human interaction.”

He now turns his focus to the actual competition, with the popular 32-year-old set to make his 10th start at The Masters this year.

And momentum is certainly with him at Augusta National, where the American finished T6 in 2024 and T5 in 2025.
