Mumbai Tragedy: 52-Year-Old Security Guard Dies After Fall From Chembur Building On First Day Of Duty While Inspecting Elevator System

Mumbai, April 3: A tragic accident claimed the life of a security guard at a Chembur building on Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 7:00 a.m. at Building No. 10, Vaibhav Laxmi Developers, Subhash Nagar.

Victim on first day of duty
The police said that the deceased, 52-year-old Nathuram Sakhvilkar, a resident of Ghatla, Chembur, was on his first day of duty at the building. He had gone to inspect the elevator parking system on the fifth-floor platform when he lost his balance and fell into the open area leading to the ground floor.
Emergency response and hospitalisation
Emergency services, including the police and the fire brigade, rushed to the spot and managed to retrieve him. He was immediately taken to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar East for treatment, where the doctor declared him brought dead.
