Indore News: West Discom Revenue Hits ₹13K Crore In FY26

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company reported a rise in revenue collection for the financial year 2025-26, reaching Rs 13,359 crore, an increase of about Rs 400 crore over the previous year.

West Discom Managing Director Anoop Kumar Singh said the growth was driven by an intensive revenue recovery campaign conducted in March.
The campaign was carried out across 15 districts in the Malwa-Nimar region, including Indore.

Staff reached out directly to consumers at homes, shops, farms, marketplaces and panchayat buildings to collect dues.
As a result, payments were collected from nearly 30 lakh consumers in March alone, generating about Rs1,410 crore in revenue.
Over the entire financial year, the company s total cash revenue collection stood at Rs13,359 crore.
Singh said the company remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted power supply, with thousands of employees serving consumers across 15 districts.
