Concepcion has been viewed as a likely target for the Patriots in multiple mock drafts in the lead-up to the 2026 NFL Draft. It's understandable considering he was one of the most dynamic playmakers in all of college football last season.
He recorded 61 catches for 919 yards and nine touchdowns. His incredible speed and YAC potential make him a likely game-changer at the next level. Along with playing a key role on offense, he could also contribute on special teams as a returner.
Concepcion recorded 456 punt return yards and two punt return touchdowns for the Aggies last season. He was ultimately awarded the Paul Hornung Award as the nation's most versatile player. In addition to that award, he was also a postseason All-American and a First-Team All-SEC selection.

The Patriots undoubtedly need more playmakers at wide receiver.
Concepcion would be an explosive option capable of turning short plays into long ones. If the Aggies' standout receiver is still on the board at No. 31 in the first round, the Patriots might consider taking him as an added weapon for third-year quarterback Drake Maye.
