Fresh off her recent win at the BNP Paribas Open, WTA No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka will head to Miami to defend her title at the 2026 Miami Open, which begins on March 17. On the men's side, last year's Miami Open winner, Jakub Mensik, returns to defend his title in a competitive field that will include Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Ben Shelton. Mensik, now the ATP's No. 16 seed, was ranked No. 54 in the world last year when he defeated Novak Djokovic in the 2025 final.
