'Ugh, disgusting' - Cologne stadium announcer in bother for outburst

Cologne stadium announcer Michael Trippel is in trouble with his own club for his outbursts against the referee during the 2-1 Bundesliga defeat at home to Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
"Ugh, disgusting," Trippel ranted over the stadium microphone in stoppage time in the first half. Referee Daniel Siebert had shown Cologne defender Jamai Simpson-Pusey a yellow card before upgrading it to a red following a video review of the studs-up tackle.

When Dortmund's Yan Couto handled the ball in the penalty area in added time in the second half, there was neither a whistle from the referee nor video intervention.
It looked a clear spot-kick and after the match, Trippel whipped up the crowd by saying: "In the 95th minute, there was a clear handball by a Dortmund player in the penalty area and no one even looked at it."
Cologne sporting director Thomas Kessler believed it was a definite penalty but was still unhappy with his stadium announcer.
"It is not right for a stadium announcer to express his emotions over the microphone during a Bundesliga match," he told Sky TV. "We will certainly discuss this afterwards."
