Having won titles in every promotion he’s worked for — World Wrestling Entertainment, All Elite Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and Ring of Honor, to name a few — the wrestling legend can add another title to his mantle via his dog, a mastiff named Beast.

On Thursday, Beast took home third place in the working group open category at Crufts in the United Kingdom, considered the world’s largest dog show.

“It’s an incredible, incredible show,” Rhodes said in a Fox News interview. “I guess this is the world’s largest dog show, so, we decided to go big or go home. Amazing, amazing show.”

Beast weighs more than Rhodes

Beast competed in the working group — where dogs are meant to assist and protect their owners.

Rhodes said Beast is good at seeing somebody who has high or low blood pressure.

“He’s a very smart dog,” said Rhodes. “Mastiffs are amazing, amazing animals, man. I would never own another breed besides a mastiff, and I’ve had all kinds of dogs over my life and mastiffs are just everything – pure, loyal, loving, just crawling on your lap, hurt your bones.”

Beast weighs more than Rhodes at 250 pounds and has a rich diet to match. Rhodes said he spends $200 a month on food for the mastiff, who eats eight cups a day consisting of dry food, chicken, rice and steak.

More dog shows to come

The former AEW TNT champ said he never thought he’d get into the dog show business but he has found massive success with Beast two years into it.

Rhodes’ team includes his wife, Ta-rel Runnels, and handler Terry Smith.

Rhodes told Fox News he’s aiming high, hoping for a best in show record. So far, Beast has won 13, with Rhodes aiming for 29.

“So, we’re gonna do our best in the next year and a half, two years, really campaign the dog and advertise the crap out of it,” he said. “Hopefully, we’ll get there.”
