Class of 2027 five-star shooting guard Ryan Hampton has scheduled a visit with the Nebraska basketball program on March 8. This was reported by On3’s Joe Tipton on Tuesday afternoon. (subscription needed).
Hampton is the No.3 overall player in the 2027 class and the top -ranked shooting guard per the Rivals Industry Rankings. He hails from Texas and is the younger brother of former NBA first-round draft pick RJ Hampton.

Younger Hampton also has visits scheduled to North Carolina State on March 2, Ole Miss on March 3, and SMU on March 4, in addition to Nebraska. He is averaging about 20 points per game for DME Academy in Texas this season.
Currently, the 2027 Nebraska basketball recruiting class has one commitment in Ty Schlagel. Hampton would be another solid choice for a program that has been on the rise over the past couple of seasons.
