Confirmed: Nedbank Cup quarterfinals

The Nedbank Cup final eight fixtures are here to offer several intriguing clashes after two of the favourites suffered shock defeats last weekend.
Last season’s finalists, Orlando Pirates, crashed out in the last 16 round on penalties at the hands of lower division high-flyers Casric Stars.

South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns were sent packing after a 2-0 loss against TS Galaxy at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.

AND THEN WE HAD EIGHT TEAMS
Joining Casric and Galaxy in the final eight are AmaZulu FC, Sekhukhune United, Milford FC, Jacksa Spears, Golden Arrows and Durban City FC.
Arthur Zwane’s Usuthu, following a narrow 1-0 win over Richards Bay in the KZN derby, will host Casric. Eric Tinkler’s Sekhukhune United, who edged past the Motsepe Foundation Championship’s (MFC) AmaTuks 1-0, will be at home to another MFC side, Milford FC.
Jacksa Spears, this Nedbank Cup’s only surviving amateur side, which won against Vasco Da Gama, will travel from Magareng, Northern Cape, to Mpumalanga to battle the Rockets.
The all-PSL showdown will see Golden Arrows vs Durban City in another KZN derby.
