As detailed by the Today show, Ruehle busted out the melody to “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang,” which rapper Snoop Dogg recognized immediately.
“Hey, he’s playing ‘G Thang!’ Go ‘head now,” Snoop exclaimed while commentating a hockey game.
Naturally, Snoop also danced a bit, though he had to be corrected as to the pronunciation of Ruehle’s name, which he said like “Dee-tee-uh.”
Pronunciation dispute aside, the hosts of the Today show were thrilled with Ruehle’s work and work ethic, as Carson Daly noted he performed at 20 games in a week.
“He’s got a wide range of musical selection, so shoutout to Dieter, one of those heroes behind the scenes,” Daly said.
He’s been working hard, but with those numerous games comes some cool moments.
