Berks bowling: Exeter’s Haley Schwenk, Muhlenberg’s Cameron Peffel earn top honors

Exeter senior Haley Schwenk and Muhlenberg junior Cameron Peffel have been named the BCIAA bowlers of the year, it was announced Tuesday.

Schwenk was the girls honoree after averaging 210.2 per game for the season. She won the BCIAA singles title last week at Heisters Lanes, beating Wilson senior Brielle Turner 203-184 in the championship match.

Peffel had a 229.2 average for the season and lost in BCIAA championship match to Wilson’s Aiden Hattendorf 205-201.

Joining Schwenk on the all-county team were Muhlenberg sophomore Michelle Rohrback, Gov. Mifflin senior Serina Miller, Turner, Conrad Weiser freshman Abigail Marburger and Wilson sophomore Lily Rutt.

Rohrbach had a 198.0 average, Miller a 196.0, Turner, a senior, 194.9, Marburger a 190.2 and Rutt a 178.9.

Joining Peffel on the all-county boys were Hattendorf, a senior, Gov. Mifflin senior Jayden Breidenstein, Daniel Boone senior Declan Hamblen, Wilson senior Christian Hattendorf, and Exeter senior Joe Vasquez.

Aiden Hattendorf had a 218.8 average for the year. Breidenstein averaged 211.7, Hamblen 210.4, Christian Hattendorf 209.9, and Vasquez 209.9.

The all-Division 1 girls team is made up of Exeter’s Makenzie Fizz (177.9), Morgan Kauffman (173.3), Madison Cambria (169.9) and Mikayla Wendt (166.8), Oley Valley’s Addilyn Howard (172.2), and Twin Valley’s Rachel Kerper (163.6).

The all-Division 1 boys team is made up of Wilson’s Aaron Bender (202.8) and Logan Mitchell (201.7), Reading High’s Julian Wendt (202.9), Gov. Mifflin’s Jacob Spayd (201.4) and Oley Valley’s Keegan Cullen (200.9).

The all-Division 2 girls team is made up of Daniel Boone’s Breanna Fitzcharles (177.0) and Emma-Grace Balkaran (173.4), Hamburg’s Faith Williams (151.2) and Skylynn Landon (150.9), and Conrad Weiser’s Riley Orth (151.2) and Ava Lowery (144.5).

The all-Division 2 boys team is made up of Daniel Boone’s Andrew Groller (209.3), Scotty Fine (196.9) and Matt Serrano (193.9), Schuylkill Valley’s Tyler Spitler-Bruno (202.4) and Noah Gehret (199.4), and Hamburg’s Kameron Dreibelbis (209.4).
