The defensive end, who is currently the subject of extensive trade rumors, on Tuesday unveiled his mindset via social media regarding his status with the Las Vegas Raiders.
At the forefront of his messaging was a repost from content creator Darren Vas (@darrenvas), which featured a digital street sign emphasizing the use of adversity as fuel rather than a crutch.

This follows a significant update in January, when Crosby shared visuals following his successful left knee meniscus surgery performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles. The image of Crosby flexing in a hospital bed, surrounded by standard surgical equipment, was aimed at addressing questions regarding his durability after missing the conclusion of the 2025 season.

The report stems from a “vehement disagreement” during Week 17, where Crosby, who recorded 10.0 sacks and 28 tackles for loss in 15 games, reportedly walked out of the facility after being informed he was being shut down.
The star defensive end has reportedly informed minority owner Tom Brady that he would “retire before he ever plays for them again” rather than endure another organizational reset.
“He told Tom Brady,” an unnamed general manager told LaCanfora, per SportsBoom. “That’s a fact. He told them he’ll retire before he ever plays for them again. But I’m not sure they’re actually going to trade him. Myles Garrett said the same thing last year, and we know how that ended up.”
Market interest remains high for Crosby, who signed a three-year, $106.5 million extension in March 2025. Glazer reported that “no less than 20 teams” reached out immediately following news of the player's frustration.
The Raiders are widely projected to select Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the top pick; this signals a timeline that the 28-year-old Crosby may be unwilling to wait through.
