Schwesinger led all rookies in total tackles and 11 tackles for loss in 2025, a title he held for the majority of the season. He was also tied for second among all NFL rookies for interceptions, another great accomplishment along with his seven double-digit tackle games. On top of that, his 146 total tackles are the most by a Browns rookie since their return in 1999.

The former UCLA Bruin has taken advantage of every opportunity and challenge the NFL has thrown at him so far, including the high expectations that come with being the 33rd overall pick. His positive impact made a difference from week 1, as he took over as the signal caller for the Browns' defense and quickly displayed a veteran-level presence.
